Jamila's Coquitlam fulfilled a large catering order for our summer staff party. We ordered chicken and beef souvalaki, lamb Shami, greek salad, afgan rice, pita, butter chicken, roasted potatoes. It arrived nice and hot, flavourful and well portioned. It was a big hit. I am glad we ordered from there! It was delightfully different from our usual burgers and bbq cuisine. Malik did a great job communicating with me to ensure our order was 100% to my satisfaction.

My first visit to Jamila’s Restaurant in Coquitlam, and it absolutely won’t be my last! This is a quaint little gem with an incredibly diverse menu — truly something for everyone. You can choose from Greek, Indian, Afghani, or even pizza, which makes it such a unique and welcoming spot. I went with an Indian curry, and let me tell you… it was outstanding. Full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care. The service was warm, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. The lovely couple who own and run the restaurant are charming, hardworking, and make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. If you’re looking for great food, kind service, and a place that deserves your support, I highly recommend Jamila’s. I’ll definitely be going back — and I encourage everyone to support this wonderful small business!

Jamila’s Kitchen is truly a hidden gem! The food is absolutely exceptional — especially the Ghabeli Polo with Lamb, which is cooked to perfection. The lamb is tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, and the rice is fragrant and beautifully presented. You can really taste the love and care that goes into every dish. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is kind and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Jamila’s Kitchen to anyone who appreciates authentic, high-quality Afghan cuisine. It’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again!
